Museo De Integridad Experience
MUSEO DE INTEGRIDAD
Experience Blog by Edward Drew
Last October 11, 2024, the Grade 8 Integrity students showcased a museum exhibit of interesting items that they wanted to show to the whole JHS department. My initial first impressions of the museum is that it was good. Upon entering and seeing the items, it turned into disappointment because there was no one to explain anything properly for each item. The items themselves were interesting, especially the old tech because it gave a sense of nostalgia.
This is me standing by the old tech
The old gadgets that they have displayed was the only good thing that gave a museum vibe for the whole exhibit. It was interesting for them to display on how game consoles evolved overtime. The game boy and PSP is something I found exciting to see because those consoles are rare to find now and it brought a revolution to the early gaming industry.
The museum had a large display of old coins, although no one explained to us about the history of any coins but seeing them in person was interesting. Jude tried his best in explaining but it should be the ones who own the coins that will explain.
The museum also had a Hot Wheels collection exhibit which was displayed really nice but the cars used to display was new and there was no information of anything, it was mainly used as a showcase. I found it neat on how they showed it though, it reminded me of my childhood when I used to play a lot of Hot Wheels.
Overall, this years Grade 8 Museum Exhibit could have went better with how they managed and assigned people for the museum. Little to not people were there to explain any of the items displayed and the security guard was not bothered by people touching the displays despite the signs. I would give it a 5/10 for everything because they had a lot of potential to do better. I still enjoyed my visit to the Museo De Integridad.
